Katy Jones has been studying the NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service whilst working as a Customer Service Assistant in a busy high street store. This NVQ is ideal for people who have the scope to bring about permanent improvements in service delivery that benefit their organisation and its customers.

Katy has implemented her new skills within her role at work and, within one month of starting the NCFE qualification, she was given the additional responsibility of training new starters. She’s just been promoted to Supervisor, with responsibility for 5 staff.

Katy says:

"Once the course began, I realised that the NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service addressed so many different areas of Customer Service. The qualification has given me the tools to progress further in my job role, and I now feel more confident when carrying out my daily tasks. Despite the course being challenging, the support from my tutor and classmates has helped me achieve more than I thought, both at college and at work”.

Katy has two more units to complete before she fully achieves the NCFE Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service, and is already planning to progress to NVQ Level 3 in Management.
